I like that you use the term 'lived-experiences' here. This is so important for white people to understand. People (yes, even black people everyone) all have valid human experiences shaped by other people's human experiences. Just because I don't think something is racist doesn't mean it isn't perceived that way. This is what I have been trying to learn/unlearn. Even taking a whole course in Phenomenology and learning about lived-experiences, I'm still trying to understand.
